The game has been tested with batteries and with a power adapter and everything works except the spinning disc above the screen. From our research it appears that this is pretty common. We are not sure how hard it would be to fix. The battery compartment looks clean. The box has wear including scratches, scuffs, dents, tears in the artwork, and tape. VINTAGE 1976 MEGO STAR TREK PHASER BATTLE ELECTONIC GAME WORKING CONDITION WITH POWER SUPPLY INTESTED WITH BATTERIES. NO INSTRUCTIONS BUT LIGHTS SOUNDS PLAY ACTION WORKS NOT SURE WHAT ACTIVATES THE KALEIDASCOPE DISK BUT WAS NOT SPINNING. GAME HAS EXPECTED BUT BELOW AVERAGE WEAR OF COMPONENTS.
