The console works somewhat, when a 9 volt is in they make noise and buzz, but we are sure electronics are just old now. The outer part is in great condition with minor age or wear and it does have a red button missing. There is NO rust or rot on the battery clamps and they are clean. It has light and sound and can be turned off to display open. The voice say, Enterprise here Lt. Uhura here and the second switch activates the leds.
