This is my interpretation of these patches. The embroidery pattern is meticulously hand-digitized solely by me. It is embroidered solely by me. I do not hold stock as each item is made from scratch to order.

Seen on screen in The Original Series, USS Constellation, (Doomsday Machine) USS Defiant (Tholian Web) USS Enterprise speaks for themselves, USS Excalibur (Ultimate Computer) USS Exeter (Omega Glory) USS Hood (Ultimate Computer) USS Lexington (Ultimate Computer) USS Potemkin (Ultimate Computer). Not seen onscreen but mentioned USS Farragut (Obsession) USS Intrepid (Court Martial & Immunity Syndrome) USS Republic (Court Martial) USS Valiant (A Taste of Armageddon) USS Yorktown (Obsession). Except for USS Exeter, 1st pilot, 2nd pilot and Season 1 all measure 3.25'' wide or tall whichever is the longest side. When ordering'medical department', you will receive a 1st Pilot patch with a Science department as medical was incorporated into the Science Department for the 1st pilot.

Embroidered onto gold-backed fabric which is interfaced and then given a patch backing - The USS Exeter is embroidered on a neutral colour fabric then interfaced and a patch backing added. Embroidered in'Lustre' Embroidery threads to give tones and depth. It took many fabric choices before I settled on this colour, texture and make. I used a variety of stitches including zig-zag, satin and chain stitch. The patches can be sewn, ironed or glued on.
