They rate this a, Rarity (R) 6 and using their definition of Condition a Condition of (C) 7 Fine. That say's:(Some rust spots, more rim wear, and worn spots, small dents, surface feels dry). I could only post 12 pictures and have tried to show the wear the best I can.
This success convinced Paramount to resurrect the show as a feature film, and work started in 1975. The plan was scrapped in favor of a new series, Star Trek: Phase II, in 1977, but the success of other big budget science fiction films such as Star Wars convinced Paramount to return to their original plan. Star Trek: The Motion Picture was released in 1979, accompanied by a wave of tie-in products including toy weapons, model kits, action figures produced my Mego, comic books, pocket books, McDonald Happy Meal toys and a lunchbox produced in 1979 by King Seeley Thermos. The box has a purple border and handle, with color illustrated graphics on all sides. The front of the box features the films title logo, along with a close-up illustration of a noticeably older Captain Kirk and Spock and an image of the Enterprise in the background. The back of the box features the same logo, with an image from the film featuring Kirk, Spock and McCoy. The top of the box shows another image of the Enterprise, with the bottom featuring another scene from the film with Kirk, Spock and Ilia being blinded by light whilst on the bridge of the Enterprise. The sides depict a number of alien members of the United Federation of Planets, and a shot of Kirk in a red space suit.
The matching thermos flask is purple, with a panel featuring the Enterprise and the films title logo on two sides. There is rim wear, light surface scratches on both sides.
There is very slight rusty spots on the back end where Spock's hand is up. There is scratching by the handle on lower right of lunch box and the metal where the handle is connected to. Handle is great no cracks nice white coloring. The inside is nice shiny& white. There are 3 spots on inside of lid grayish looking and in side of the box, and 3 small pin head dents.
The thermos is original with no cracks, leaks, holes the wording and date is a little blurry, looks like a small indentation on top rim of thermos. Over all this set is in fine shape for a collector or a beginner collector. All offers considered, If I don't answer right away, I will respond once I'm on.
